Full table

The ten basic mappings with farming notes

The screen above each admitted patient's bed names the illness; this table is the memory layer between reading the screen and reaching the shelf.

Confirm the live label after every update — new symptoms arrive between checks.

Kill rule

How patients actually die here

  • • Run diagnostics on the admitted patient; the screen above the bed names the illness.
  • • Give exactly the prescribed item. Community documentation is blunt: treating a patient while holding any other item kills them.
  • • The 'Treat From Inventory' perk has the same trap — if the prescribed item is not in your inventory, the patient dies.
  • • After treatment, move the patient to the recovery bed so the next check-in can start.
  • • Wrong-treatment kills also work on anomalies, which speedrunners use deliberately; do not try it on a patient you admitted by mistake without accepting the loss.
Flow

The treatment sequence

Admit the patient, walk them to a room bed, run diagnostics, read the screen above the bed, grab exactly the prescribed item from the Supplies Shop, treat, then move the patient to recovery. The loop repeats per patient, and the recovery bed turnaround is the throughput limit most farming runs underestimate.

Beyond prescriptions

Shop items, support gear, and prices

The cabinet holds more than treatments. These are the documented items with their costs — the resource planner turns the table into a buying order.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are the ten basic treatment mappings?

Bruises to Medkit, Fever to Thermometer, Flu to Cough Syrup, Canadian / Low Sugar to Maple Syrup, Headache to Medicine, Stomach Ache to Herbs, Dried Eyes to Eyedrops, Dehydration to IV Drops, Rash to Ointment, and Bleeding to Bandages — collected from the community reference and confirmable against the screen above each bed.

Why did my patient die during treatment?

The wiki's rule is blunt: treating a patient while holding any item other than the prescription kills them. The Treat From Inventory perk has the same trap when the prescribed item is missing from your inventory. Empty hand to the cabinet, prescribed item to the bed.

Is Maple Syrup only for Low Sugar patients?

No — the same item calms the Bed Monster event. The two uses never interact: a Low Sugar patient is an ordinary treatment, and the Bed Monster is a room event with its own marked interaction.

What item does an ambulance patient need?

Whatever the bed's diagnostic screen prescribes — community reports put IV Drops and Bandages at the top of surge prescriptions, which is why both are restocked first before the event.

The symptom I see is not listed. What now?

Follow the live screen's item label — updates add symptoms between checks, and the ten mappings here cover the documented basic set only. The screen above the bed is always the newest source.

Can I treat two patients at once?

The active-item rule makes it risky: whatever is in your hand when you interact with a patient must be their prescription. Finish one treatment and shelve the item before touching the next patient.
